As Joe Rogan mentioned, he is one of the best Rubber Guard players out there submitting opponents with his unorthodox style. Jeremiah won submission of the year for F2WINPRO, took Gold at IBJJF Paris Open (Brown Belt), and again at Gracie Worlds. With his insane flexibility and leg dexterity, Jeremiah catches many opponents with his Gogo Clinch, Dead Orchard and Fly Trap (from bottom side control). Boogey captured the CJJ Welterweight title at EBI 13 after defeating Bobby Emmons by D'arce choke. Shinya Aoki was the one who brought the Japanese Necktie to 10th Planet and is part of their system. Richie executed the Japanese Necktie in two of his MMA bouts and is one of his go-to moves. I've included a short highlight of this submission in the first half of the video. This was important for BJJ because this was going back to the roots like the old school Gracie Challenges with No Time Limit and Submission Only format. The tournament was an opportunity for these competitors to compete against the phenom Keenan Cornelius, who had double gold medaled in every single major IBJJF tournament in the year 2012. BJJ Kumite Rules: -12 Competitors -Everyone fights everyone in Gi and No-Gi -IBJJF rules for Gi and ADCC rules for No-Gi -No Time Limit -Submission only Athletes with the two best records would compete in the finals for a cash prize. With his insane unorthodox style, Ben executed the Hindulotine at the 10th Planet Qualifiers 6, EBI 1 and CJJ Worlds 2. The Hindulotine is essentially a Guillotine from Rubber Guard using a reverse gable grip to apply the choke. The beauty of this technique is that the choke still works even if the guard is passed. Son of the legendary Rickson and grandson of Helio, the founder of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Kron Gracie was set to fight Hyung Soo Kim for his MMA debut on December 23, 2014.
