Jeremiah won submission of the year for F2WINPRO, took Gold at IBJJF Paris Open (Brown Belt), and again at Gracie Worlds. With his insane flexibility and leg dexterity, Jeremiah catches many opponents with his Gogo Clinch, Dead Orchard and Fly Trap (from bottom side control). This was important for BJJ because this was going back to the roots like the old school Gracie Challenges with No Time Limit and Submission Only format. The tournament was an opportunity for these competitors to compete against the phenom Keenan Cornelius, who had double gold medaled in every single major IBJJF tournament in the year 2012. His opponent, Hyun Soo Kim AKA the Immortal Wrestler, a top prospect fighting out of South Korea, was also making his pro MMA debut. The fight only lasted 65 seconds with an Armbar submission. Most recently at ADCC 2019 Absolute division, Lachlan as one of the lightest competitors (under 77kg) shocked the world by submitting 3 world-class heavyweights (Kaynan Duarte, Patrick Gaudio and Mahamed Aly) all by heel hook. Lachlan also recently competed at Kinektic Invitational 1 2019, a five vs five grappling event similar to Quintet. Hideo "Little Volk" Tokoro (Reversal Gym Tokoro Plus) is a Japanese mixed martial artist who competes at Rizin in the Bantamweight division. Tokoro recently has been more involved with submission grappling in events such as Quintet and Combat Jiu-Jitsu Worlds. At Quintet 1, Tokoro was able to hit an Armlock from the Imanari roll with spectacular fashion. The Imanari roll was invented by Japanese MMA fighter Masakazu Imanari and has successfully executed the flashy move in both MMA and BJJ.
